Stand up for kids

There was an instance of bullying at a Steinbach school recently, two kids assaulted an indigenous kid and left him with a concussion. The bullies only got a 2 day suspension and the kid that got assaulted didn’t get any justice.

I hate bullying, I bullied 2 people in my life and was ashamed of it – and never did it again. But I never physically hurt anyone – and I was the target of several bullies when I was in school. The administration in my school never did anything to protect me – but truth be told, I didn’t need any protection. Although I was smaller than the people that bullied me – my dad after pushing the administration to do something about it, gave me the green light.

The next time I got bullied by a group of 3 guys and I smiled at them, they thought this was gonna be easy. I kicked the living shit out of all three of them. I left them lying in a heap lol.. they really had no idea what they were getting themselves into. I’ve always been good with my hands and it was like a massacre. I got in a serious amount of trouble but guess how often I got bullied after that? Zero, they wouldn’t come anywhere near me after that – all those fragile egos put to rest. 💀

But why does it have to come to that? Why are school officials incapable of dealing with bullies? It seems like its more acceptable to bully a child into taking their own life than to actually do something to stop the bully. I know at some point, kids have to work things out themselves, but some kids can’t beat a bully, some kids aren’t fighters, but they don’t deserve to be bullied. If you’re an adult, and its up to you, and you won’t do something to protect those kids – you’re a weak ass excuse for a human being.

What makes you strong isn’t being a bully or beating a bully – an Alpha male is comfortable with themselves to the point where they don’t need to respond to bullying, its like a fly that lands on your shoe, ignore it – its not worthy of your time or attention – and it escalates – you put it down hard.

The truth is that school administration needs to take a zero tolerance stance on bullying. Grow some balls and stand on your policies.
