I’ve done some more research and found the restaurant I referred to in my previous post was the “Happy Dutch Mill” and was purchased in 1972 (when I was born). George Born the owner, even build a motor powered windmill for to match the name.

I read in an article on Steinbach Online that George went with his family on a Alaskan cruise. I was very blessed that my wife and I were able to go on a trip with family friends on a Alaskan Cruise on the Holland America Line Koningsdam cruise ship. We had a massive stateroom and just a fantastic time – really the trip of a lifetime.
