Hi,

It feels like our summer was really short… it was so smokey for such a long time in the beginning of summer that we really didn’t get to enjoy the outside as much as we normally do.

In this picture we are enjoying Blumenort Fun & Fair days – once of the best days of the year to be in our small town. I’d say my favorite event of the year is the church at the park where we have Discada, a Northern Mexican mixed-meat dish cooked on a plow plate known as a disco.
