Team Lead Retreat
*Update – The team lead retreat was great, we got back around 2pm. I learned a lot and it was worth it, had a great time in Winnipeg. We went to Montana’s for supper on Tuesday evening and took some time to relax.*
Next week after Monday, I’m going on a Team Lead Retreat to Winnipeg. I have people staying at my house to take care of the place while I’m gone.
I work with a fantastic team of people, I have to pinch myself sometimes to believe how lucky I am to have the life God gave me.. although the beginning of my life was beyond extremely difficult; but God has changed everything in my life for the better.
In my job I oversee the technology needs of a medium to large sized network of health professionals, I am part of the administration team and I take my work very seriously.
One of my responsibilities is also being administrator of the Accuro EMR instance, basically what they means is I deal with the day to day admin of an electronic medical health records system. I also handle the switch fabric network, WIFI, firewalls, backups, software deployment, phone system, door security system, and more.
I have to be careful, once I start talking geek, there’s no stopping it.. 😁 lol.. anyway, I am so grateful to have the job I have, like you have no idea how good it is; however in an act of being grateful, I do everything possible to help the people I work with, the more I can enable them, assist them, or lift them up – the result is better care for our clients.
That is the beauty of sending out love and care into the world – when you help others, sometimes the byproduct of that is a trickle down effect onto even more people. I don’t and can’t take any credit for what has been accomplished through me.. the truth is I owe everything I have and have done to Jesus Christ, without him in my life, I would be nothing but a wreck and a wretch. I never could have gotten or survived without his strength, his unending love saving a man who never deserved it.
