Blumenort

Blumenort is a local urban district in Manitoba, Canada, situated in the Rural Municipality of Hanover. It lies 4.1 km (2.5 miles) north of Steinbach.

The settlement was founded in 1874 by Mennonite immigrants as part of the East Reserve.

As of the 2021 census, the population stood at 1,738, with a density of approximately 548 people per square kilometre over 3.17 km².

The name Blumenort translates to “flower place” in German.

It remains an unincorporated community with its own website for local sports and recreation details.
