Who is your God?

Reading this, you may be a believer in Christ specifically, or perhaps an Atheist, or one of the alternatives.

Human beings were created to worship, I think that is fairly clear… I mean, we worship all the time, sometimes without even realizing it. Something becomes our god when we give it adulation undue to a created object, or in other words, we worship the creation instead of the creator.

There is a pantheon of pagan gods that people have worshipped – Bael (sexual immorality, self mutilation), Molech (child sacrifice) and others from Roman, Greek, Celtic, or Egyptian gods.

Another example is Krampus, a half goat, half demon monster that punishes children by beating them with sticks – a pathetic little excuse for a deity.

We all worship something, some people even make themselves their own god – isn’t that the new age teaching that the answer is inside of you, look not without, but look within. 🙄

The featured image on this post is from the TV series American Gods (a disgusting show) of old & new gods, new gods including media, ,mr world, and czernobog. In the show they mock Jesus and insult him – why mock the only true God? In the show, only Jesus is singled out like that, why? Evil mocks God but why mock the winning team.. Jesus died on a cross for our sins – its game over, we just need to wait for Jesus to return and usher in a new Kingdom and a new earth. 😊

I believe demonic entities respond/identify as the pagan gods above as a way of tricking humanity, just like I believe demonic beings appear as aliens as a way to deceive and delude mankind. Satan and his followers are always attempting to deceive others – they are never interested in the truth.

With so many distractions vying for our time and attention – we need to cut ourselves off from unwanted distractions and spend time in God’s word, the Holy bible, and worship him exclusively. The ancient Israelites were notorious for “switching” between adoration for God, and fooling around with foreign women and worshipping their pagans gods.

We need to make a choice to what God we serve and then commit fully to him… and when we turn against other gods – we need to smash the idols and wipe them off the face of the earth. The message of inclusion and diversity has no place when it comes to accepting idols into your life – I will never bow the knee to anyone except God. When Jesus returns and establishes his final kingdom on earth – there will be no more false idols ever again.
