Fun at Home
I recently finished installing privacy screen(s) on the front of my house… we have a lot of strangers driving past and my kids don’t like the fact that anyone driving by can see into every window we have at the front – it is a very visible location near the stop sign, so I put up the privacy screens for that reason. We also have a lot of sunlight coming in thru our windows and this mutes the brightness to an acceptable level.
I also think its suits our house better, we have a darker colored house and the reflective windows look cooler than just seeing straight into the house – our house has sun glasses now.. 😏
When I’m not busy with any home projects or volunteer work – I like to play some games… so I purchased the PC game Last Report (see here). It is an dark horror Indie game created by Monopixel games (a sole developer).
In the game you play a night shift park ranger who monitors camera footage and corrects/destroys/classifies camera footage in park and notices strange events starting to take place in the park.

It’s pretty cool, you have visitors, get to drink coffee, and I love the pixelated look and feel of the game, it just suits the genre – the type of game is it so very well.
Its not a hardcore action game by any means, its more of an atmospheric event driven game where the situation becomes more and more dire. Once you classify a report, you submit it to the central system – it even has a cute little Captcha mechanism (prove ur a human) for submitting your report, it also keeps track of your accuracy and you can view the weather app and you have a radio to keep in contact with your co-workers in the field.
It’s not the longest game – apparently 2-3 hours, I haven’t finished it yet – but its like $6 on Steam, so big deal.. so far its been great fun and I highly recommend it as a way to have some fun and unwind in the evening.
