Just over a month away!
In just over a month, we are going on the Celebrity Solstice Hubbard Glacier Cruise!
We have a room with a veranda – something we didn’t have on our last cruise. Here is an image from one of the stateooms.
The views from the ship previous were amazing. I can’t even put into words – how beautiful, scenic, and breathtaking the landscape was from the ship.
The ships themselves have many activities to keep a person busy, I love walking, going on the observation deck, enjoying the views while drinking a fancy ass coffee 😏.

The ship itself is opulent, and is very high class – I’m not a high class person, I don’t live that way, I don’t dress that way (look at me I’m a fancy person.. lol) and yet, I enjoy the type of personality these ships attract – I’m a very busy person and I do everything I can to help people. But I eventually need to unwind and take time for myself, a ship like this lets me do that.

I’m not as wild as I used to be, in some ways I enjoy the peace and tranquility of being on a cruise ship. I find it hard to be myself… it is very hard for me not to be intensively private. Being myself means letting my guard down and being vulnerable and as much as I want to do that – need to do that, I find people to be very judgmental and if that happens, I cease all communication with them. It’s not about being hurt, if someone mouths off to me, the truth is – I have to watch myself aka my response to that, I’m a Christian – I want to be like Jesus and forgive people, I don’t want to say or do anything that I would regret (or perhaps not regret.. just kidding 🙂 ) and we need to be bigger people than that, so I’d rather de-escalate. There is a very few select people that I truly feel comfortable being around – just like the cruise ship, I want to surround myself with mature, thoughtful, intelligent people and have meaningful discourse.
On a cruise ship – I don’t know anyone, and we are all there just to relax. I love reading and listening to audiobooks, I’ve loved reading my whole life, and for the most part it doesn’t matter what I read – as long as it isn’t evil crap or boring.
Here is the library on the Celebrity Solstice cruise ship.. check it out!!!

If you’ve been on an Alaskan cruise or similar type of cruise, I’d love to hear about it and know what your experience was like!
