Pastor Daniel
“It really is a blessing to see the whole community gathered together like this, Sarah.”
Sarah
“Amen, Pastor. Beautiful weather and good neighbors we have a lot to be thankful for.”
Jacob (thinking)
“*A sudden pull to the south ridge… someone is in trouble down by the coulee.*”
Jacob
“Excuse me for a moment, Pastor, Sarah. I think I left something near the truck.”
Tim
“Help! Is anybody out there? The bank is slipping!”
Jacob
“Quick, Tim! Pull your leg free! I’ve got it!”
Tim
“Jacob?! How are you how is that even possible?!”
Tim
“That machine weighs three tons! It’s a miracle you held it up long enough!”
Jacob
“The Lord provides strength right when we need it most, Tim. Let’s get you back to the picnic to check that ankle.”
Pastor Daniel
“Providence works in quiet ways, Tim. We’re just glad Jacob happened to walk by.”
Sarah (whispering)
“Nice work, my strong man.”
Jacob (smiling softly)
“Just doing the work I was given, Sarah.”
